Hi,

I have this chart and I am itching to start. Anyone done any of LTD on different fabric (not the recommended)? Is the lambswool is too pale?

Pls LMK as I am not sure what to look for.

LTD Conversion Help

Hi there,

I just got 12C Japanese Garden, and wonder if anyone had any ideas for some thread conversions: I don't mind using specialty threads, as long as they are ones I can find:

Colorwash silk by Glissen Gloss - CW581
Lacquered Jewel by Madeira - J425
Decora by Madeira - D1455
Decora by Madeira - D1549

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

17thC Irish Garden

I started this on the 2nd and have the inside garden outlined and two of the flowers stitched. I have a question about the floss - on page 9 in the list of colours needed for the rhododendron is 1705; however there is no 1705 in the main list of floss on page 3. 1705 is also listed for the Camelia and Yarrow; however for the Iris 1205 is listed. I am wondering if the other three should not also be 1205? The rhododendron is the flower I have stitched so far but I did not do the backstitching...

anyone ever made a stumpworkproject of LTD?

For christmas I got a little stumpworkproject of LTD: it is a seashell. When I finished my Drawn Thread needlecase I will start working on this one. Does anyone here have experience with these patterns?

I have started the japanese garden this week, and I want if anybody else is stitching it now ?? I find 2 errors on the chart !!

ISO Ornaments

At CATS Hershey I bought an ornament kit called Christmas Mouse. There were several others in the series. Does anyone know where to get them? I've been searching all morning on the internet and haven't found the kits. I found one place that had the pattern for one of them. Any help would be appreciated.

I just checked out her site and it shows more gardens than I knew about and you can purchase them directly from her she has kits, fibers, and charts.

I hardly can believe my eyes, but after a lot of struggle I finally
finished my LTD garden :-)
I am so very happy!

Judith made this one also, but I made some changes in the original
pattern so they are not the same anymore (I made changes in the border,
the right upper garden, backstitches and some other small things).

laced haringbone question

Hello everyone,

In the 16th c familiy garden the border is stitched by a laced
hearingbone stitch. Wich variation does LTD mean? I know
a couple of them.

I do not know what was wrong with me past months but inspite of your very clear way of pointing out this "crossed bar" stitch -Eng. fam. garden-, I still did not understand how
to do it...
So I threw my work away in a dark corner. Till yesterday...

going to stitch the Cider House Garden? I splurged and bought the chart that came with all the supplies. Her charts always take a bit of studying, but it should be fun to stitch.

I have the pattern for English Garden and think I saw somewhere that you could actually buy packs with the supplies for this piece - has anyone ordered a pack over the internet? Any suppliers do a better job than any others? By the time I order it and it arrives in Aus I may just about be ready to start - I think this is going to be my next project!
